FACULTY
EVELINE CARLE (OWNER/DIRECTOR), CLASSICAL BALLET & CONTEMPORARY DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Native of Montreal, Canada, Ms. Carle was trained at L'Ecole Superieure de Danse du Quebec after which she performed with the internationally acclaimed company Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. She received two performance awards in high school and graduated from college with honors, receiving a performance prize which allowed her to travel to Europe and represent the school in several dance com panies in France. An award winning choreographer, Ms. Carle produced her first concert at the age of 16. In 1997 she created a piece for the Les Grands Ballets’ Emerging Choreographer’s Concert.

In 1999 and 2000 Ms. Carle danced with Snappy Dance Theater in Boston. Ms. Carle moved to New York City in 2001 and developed solo works which she performed live and on film. Ms. Carle taught at several dance studios across Cape Cod before settling at Studio 878 in Chatham as co-director in 2003-04.

In 2004, Ms. Carle became the owner of the Cape Cod Dance Center, established in 1989. Throughout the last fourteen years, Ms. Carle re-choreographed multiple complete ballets: The Nutcracker (2004-2015), Sleeping Beauty (2004 & 2014), Carmen (2005 & 2011), Coppélia (2006 & 2016), Les Sylphides (2007 & 2013), Gaité Parisienne (2007 & 2013), Giselle (2008), La Fille Mal Gardée (2009), La Bayadere (2015).

  MEREDITH LANGTON, BALLET/TAP, LYRICAL/JAZZ/TAP & HIP HOP INSTRUCTOR

Meredith was born and raised in Waltham MA. She started dancing at age 3 and never stopped. She studied dance and theater and has choreographed for musicals in theater companies such as Theatre Three, Emerson Players, Gold Dust Orphans, Turtle Lane Playhouse, and Medway High. And was recently involved in 2 off Broadway tours as the dance instructor and choreographer.

Meredith built several dance programs in the greater Boston area over the last 10 years and she loves to teach and enjoy the special time she spends with the students.

SANDY MALONEY, SUMMER KID'S BALLET & JAZZ INSTRUCTOR

Ms Sandy teaches classes in ballet & tap, lyrical, jazz and tap from pre-school to 6th grade. Ms. Sandy danced her whole life prior to continuing her training at the Boston Conservatory. Her teaching style is engaging and well suited to younger children who need both structure and playfulness. Ms Sandy makes dance fun and educational.

  RON GURSKY, BALLROOM DANCING INSTRUCTOR

Ron Gursky has taught dance in the Boston area for more than 25 years and has trained many of the area's fine amateurs and professionals. He is on the faculty of many professional conventions.

  ELLEN BRODSKY, BALLROOM DANCING INSTRUCTOR

Ellen Brodsky began studying with Mrs. French in 1986. Mrs. Brodsky has been coordinating the ballroom dance program for the Cape Cod Dance Center since 2008 where she continues to instruct dancers beginners through intermediate advanced levels as she has since 1992. She has been teaching locally for over 15 years.

  DOUG McHUGH

McHugh has taught ballroom dance for over ten years. His first experience with social dance began in his teen years when his father taught social dancing at a community college. He joined the Arthur Murray team in 2000. Since that time, McHugh has continued to teach independently with his wife.

  SUJATA RINGAWA, YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Yoga instructor Sujata Ringawa joined the staff at the CCDC in the Spring 2010. Sujata has practiced and taught Yoga and Meditation for over 20 years. She traveled to India several times to study Eastern Philosophy and Meditation, and has given workshops combining Yoga and Meditation in India, Europe and the USA. Sujata is a certified Anusara Yoga instructor.

ELAINE CODY, YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Elaine is a physical therapist and yoga teacher whose classes have been described as fun and nurturing. Elaine is passionate about the healing benefits of a consistent yoga practice. She believes that yoga is a tool to keep one grounded and focused on those things that are most important in life. Elaine completed her 200 hour teacher training at the Sanctuary Yoga Studio in Plymouth. She also holds a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

LORI MACK, YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Lori is a Certified Yoga Teacher, specializing in Yin, Restorative and Gentle Hatha. Lori has a peaceful, meditative style of teaching. She creates a kind and caring experience of yoga that comes from the heart.

DEDE CUNNINGHAM, YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Dede is an E-RYT 200 certified teacher with Yoga Alliance. She is qualified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. Dede enjoys working with all levels of yogis and guides with a strong emphasis on breath work and individual alignment.

  DR. JAY CRIDER, TAI CHI INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Jay Crider has practiced Tai Chi for nearly thirty years. Dr. Jay Crider is a certified facilitator of Tai Chi Easy©, a simplified and condensed form of Tai Chi. The simplified form is fun and easy to learn in six sessions and easy to add to our busy lifestyles. Dr. Crider has been practicing Psychotherapy for over 30 years. He has taught a variety of Psychology courses which has led to an invitation to speak at Oxford University, UK. He is currently working as a consultant at Falmouth Hospital/Community College; Director of a first of its kind family intervention program; and a Supervised Therapists.

KELLY JOHNSON, ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR

Kelly became a Zumba instructor after losing over thirty pounds through taking Zumba classes and having the most fun she'd have in years. Come and experience for yourself how dance and exercise can change your life. Kelly became a Zumba instructor so she could share her experience with others.
